The most functional raw materials related to air-conditioning equipment are imported in Korea. 

There is a price competition, but the quality is falling somewhat. Particularly, in domestic automobile related and air conditioning equipment.  As related companies are moving their production lines to low-wage countries such as China in consideration of cost reduction purposes.  As the competitiveness of market share in Korea especially in HAVC markets is very high and strong which makes to be difficult consequently, the price war is not suitable measurement to decide to go for but new advanced technology is needed.

In order to develop specialized technical skills and products related to air-conditioning equipment materials,

It was established in October 2006 and was certified as a research institute attached to Korea Chemtech on November 17, 2006.

Jan. 2009 Certified as HVAC research institute by Korea Chemtech Co., Ltd.
